How is vaginal PRP therapy performed?
The procedure begins with a simple blood draw. Whole blood is then placed into a centrifuge and processed in order to separate out the platelets from the blood. The concentrated platelet layer is then withdrawn into a separate syringe, which is used for the procedure. These platelets are then injected directly into the vaginal wall, clitoris or labia to achieve your desired outcome. Numbing medication is placed over the treatment area prior to the injections being performed to avoid discomfort. For those who are particularly anxious about this procedure, do not forget that we offer Pro-Nox inhalation therapy, which greatly reduces pain and anxiety during a procedure.
