Many over-the-counter (OTC) supplements are overpriced and simply do not provide the benefit that you seek, as the business of supplement therapy is largely unregulated. Oftentimes, these OTC supplements are not even in the form that the body can use. Unfortunately, this means that many people take an inappropriate or ineffective dose. Our providers can help you choose your best supplement(s), the best form of the supplement and the best dose to meet your needs. In some cases, we may suggest injection therapy of certain supplements if you have a significant need for that particular supplement.
We can inject very specific nutrients in an effort to meet your overall wellness goals. Injection therapy can enhance your overall treatment more quickly and effectively. We offer many different injectables based on your symptoms or treatment goals.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is a necessary vitamin that the body uses. Our bodies require vitamin C to repair and grow all tissue. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that has been shown to decrease hypertension, decrease the risk for heart disease, prevent gout, prevent iron deficiency and protect your memory and thinking. Furthermore, vitamin C is also able to booster immunity and help your white blood cells function better.
Vitamin B Complex
Vitamin B complex contains thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, biotin and folate. Each one of these vitamins is unique but work together synergistically. These vitamins are vital for cognitive health, as they produce brain chemicals. They also help to regulate mood and sleep. Appropriate levels of vitamin B can protect against neurologic diseases, mental disorders, hypertension, high cholesterol, asthma, arthritis, premenstrual syndrome, morning sickness and kidney stones.
Vitamin B12
Vitamin B-12 is an essential vitamin that our body cannot produce on its own. This vitamin occurs naturally in animal products and plays a role in many functions within your body. Vitamin B-12 can reduce anemia; support bone health; reduce the risk of macular degeneration; improve mood; boost energy; improve heart health; and support healthy hair, skin and nails. It is also very neuroprotective, decreasing the risk of dementia and peripheral neuropathy.
Gutathione
Glutathione is a molecule formed by the liver and is made up of three amino acids. It is a very powerful antioxidant and also stimulates the immune system. Glutathione helps the gastrointestinal tissue, improving gut health. Research also demonstrates improved cardiovascular health, skin whitening, decreased atherosclerosis and decreased risk of diabetes. We typically use glutathione as an anti-oxidant and regulatory agent of many biological processes.
Magnesium Glycinate
Magnesium is a very important mineral. The healthy human body contains an abundant supply of this mineral. This mineral plays a role in hundreds of reactions within the body, including creating new tissue, protecting tissue and restoring energy. Magnesium is one of the most important minerals for our body but is often depleted due to decreasing levels of magnesium within our food, as well as many medications causing magnesium loss. Replacing magnesium can help to promote repair and overall protection of almost every process that occurs within the body.
